Speaker Bio

Reynir is the Executive Director of the Borealis Alliance, responsible for managing the Alliance Executive Management (AEM) team, reporting directly to the Borealis Alliance Board. The responsibilities include the day-to-day business of the Alliance and the delivery of the Alliance objectives. Facilitation and support to the individual projects and operating the Alliance project portfolio. Previously, he was the Borealis Alliance Policy and Regulatory Director.
Before joining the Alliance, he was the Director for Infrastructure and Navigation at the Icelandic Transport Authority. Acting Head of NSA and Deputy Director-General of Civil Aviation. Reynir started his career in 1991 at the Icelandic Civil Aviation Authority.
