Speaker Bio

Matteo Carta was born in Rome (Italy) in 1992 and currently works as UAS Engineer for Techno Sky (an ENAV Group Company).
He holds a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering achieved in 2017 at University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
In 2018 he started working in the field of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as safety & compliance engineer, taking part in HORIZON 2020 projects. He supported UAS operators and industries in obtaining authorizations and certifications from CAAs.
Since May 2023, he has been employed at Techno Sky, where he contributes to EU projects supporting the implementation of U-Space (e.g., U-ELCOME) and pilots UAS in BVLOS within airport environments.
He has expertise in avionics, aeronautical regulations, and safety.
