Christine Schierhorn is Director Operational Performance and Development at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung, the German air navigation service provider. From 2015 to 2020, she was Head of Bremen Area Control Centre, and before this Head of Tower Hamburg. In addition to her work at DFS, Christine Schierhorn was, from 2017 to 2020, Chairwoman of the Joint Task Force Flexible Use of Airspace and Civil Military Affairs in FABEC. Being the mother of three children, Christine Schierhorn started her career as an Air Traffic Controller at DFS and later completed an MBA in Aviation Management.
