David Elmalem is a senior Consultant in Air Traffic Management (ATM) at Sopra Steria, specializing in the design, validation, and integration of complex air traffic control systems. He is a graduate of the École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC). He focuses on identifying areas within ATM organisations where technology can bring measurable value, and works with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective solutions (e.g., automation, AI‑assisted engineering, modernized HMI, data‑driven systems).
With extensive experience across ATCO HMI, i4D/CTA operations, drone integration, and advanced ATM R&D, David has supported numerous modernization initiatives for air navigation service providers, from operational concept development to system integration and performance assessment.
