Activities

Choose the activities that match your goals. Each format is designed to maximise impact, collaboration and learning at Airspace World.

Workshops — Intensive, skill-based learning in small groups with ATM experts and practitioners.

Guided Tours — Exclusive access to operational centres and live demonstration projects.

Mini Theatres — Live demos, case studies and short talks in informal, high-energy spaces.

Networking Opportunities — Clear set-ups making it easier to connect with peers and experts.

About the workshop

We are putting practical tools in your hands to test, challenge, and debate the societal integration of IAM. Your perspective is not a footnote to this process, it is the foundation of it.

Whether you are a UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) operator, a researcher, a policymaker, a business, or simply a curious citizen, this is your chance to be part of the conversation shaping what innovative air mobility looks like in Europe.

Working in groups, participants will:

  • experiment with user-friendly assessment tools
  • compare alternative transport approaches
  • reflect on the broader impacts of drone integration
  • contribute their perspectives through guided exercises designed to capture societal readiness and identify priorities for successful implementation.

Location: Room/Sala 1 in the FIL Meeting Centre

Covering a wide range of topics shaping the future of aviation, the 13 tours will explore trajectory-based operations, sustainability and the EU Green DealU-space and drone integration, AI-enabled ATM, digitalisation and virtualisation of ATM, civil-military coordination, capacity and performance, CNS and communications, airport operations, and automation.

The tours are designed around the concrete results emerging from research, innovation and deployment activities. These results are fully aligned with the development and deployment priorities of the European ATM Master Plan, offering a clear view of how Europe’s strategy is being translated into operational reality. More importantly, they showcase the full SESAR lifecycle—from early research to validated solutions and deployment-ready technologies already entering the market.

This is innovation you can walk through. Along the way, you’ll meet the people behind the progress—experts from air navigation service providers (ANSPs), industry, research centres and institutions—who are driving ATM modernisation across Europe.
