See what is on at the Europe for Aviation stand and theatre

The Europe for Aviation partners are looking forward to welcoming Airspace World 2023 visitors at their joint stand and theatre (H22) with a packed agenda featuring demos, briefings and panel debates on a wide range of topics affecting European aviation.

Over the three days of Airspace World the nine partners – the European Commission (EC), the European Climate, Infrastructure & Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), European Defence Agency (EDA) EUROCONTROL, European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), European Union Space Programme Agency (EUSPA), European Organisation for Civil Aviation Equipment (EUROCAE), SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM) and SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking (SJU) – will show how, through close collaboration, they can go much further in tackling the most pressing challenges facing the European aviation industry.

A key highlight of Day One will be the high-level panel debate ‘Decarbonising aviation: Making net zero possible’, taking place in the Europe for Aviation theatre between 11:30-12:30. The debate will be opened by Salvatore Sciacchitano, the ICAO Council President, and followed by an interview with Henrik Hololei, Director General for Transport and Mobility at the European Commission. EUROCONTROL’s Director General Raúl Medina will then introduce a panel debate on how research, deployment and operations can contribute to reducing aviation’s emissions, featuring Andreas Boschen Executive Director of the SJU, Mariagrazia La Piscopia, Executive Director of SDM and Iacopo Prissinotti, EUROCONTROL’s Director Network Management.
