3. How long does it take to get a Swiss Visa?

The processing time for a Switzerland short-stay visa may take up to 15 days. Still, according to your specific situation, this period may be extended up to 30 days. Exceptional cases may take up to 60 days, since the Swiss embassies may have to consult with other Schengen consulates.

To avoid any delay of your Swiss short-stay visa being issued, you should submit your application as soon as possible. However, it is worth checking when applying for the visa whether it is valid from the time of issue or from the date of entry to ensure the visa is valid for the time of travel.

4. When should I book my hotel?
