Speaker Bio

Aeronautical engineer with ten years of experience, mainly working at Airbus Design Office. Since 2015, Macarena has been working on the design of new cockpit functions (e.g. datalink communication functions between Flight Crew and Air Traffic Controllers, weather/turbulence display on EFB, traffic surveillance alerts) and new concepts of operations to optimize the aircraft trajectories and reduce the impact on CO2. Since 2020, Macarena acts as Secretary of EUROCAE WG-76 and she has recently joined the team of Advisors of ICCAIA for the ICAO Communications Panel – OPDLWG.
