Active in ATC/ATM since 1991. Started at ATC the Netherlands as integration and project manager.

Working since 2005 for EUROCONTROL in the security, safety, and crisis management related areas.

Member of the NATO-EUROCONTROL ATM Security Coordination group and the Advisory Council for Aviation Research in Europe (Working Group 4: Safety and Security)

Course manager for contingency and crisis management training courses at the EUROCONTROL Aviation Learning Centre in Luxembourg.

Since 2016 member of the EUROCONTROL Network Manager Crisis Management team.

Secretary of the European Aviation Crisis Coordination Cell (EACCC)

Co-author of ICAO EUR Doc 031
