Speaker Bio

Andreas Richter is a lawyer and has been Head of the Innovation and Cluster Department at the Ministry of Economics and Innovation of the City of Hamburg for more than 10 years. He is responsible for regional innovation policy, the innovation and start-up support programmes of the Investment and Development Bank Hamburg as well as the industrial clusters Hamburg Aviation, Life Sciences Nord, Renewable Energies Hamburg and the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany. In addition, he is member of the supervisory board of the Centre for Applied Aeronautical Research (ZAL), the Hamburg Ship Model Basin (HSVA), the IFB Innostarter GmbH and the board of directors of Hamburg Aviation.
