As regulatory safety requirements evolve, improving the prevention and immediate detection of runway incursions remains a critical focus area. Currently in this last phase of implementation, this session explores how Nav Portugal and Adacel collaborated to develop an innovative advanced warning feature designed to enhance Air Traffic Controller’s situational awareness and extend safety net coverage to ground movement.
