Tomorrow’s voices asked for their views on the aviation industry

CANSO has partnered with the SESAR Engage 2 Network and CANSO Member Firstfruits Services to find out what younger people in the aviation industry or current students in related subjects, feel about their future opportunities and the challenges aviation faces.

The initiative supports the development of the Tomorrow’s Voices: Future Skies activities that will take place on Thursday 21 March at Airspace World, the world’s largest ATM and near space event, in Geneva from 19 to 21 March.

Eduardo Garcia, Senior Manager Future Skies, CANSO, commented: “Through this survey, we aim to understand the experiences of students and young professionals in our industry thus far, along with their perceptions of future challenges and opportunities.”

He adds: “As we move towards realising the Complete Air Traffic (CATS) Global Council’s vision for the skies of 2045, the input from this generation, who will be at the forefront of managing those skies, is indispensable. Hence, we are organising the Tomorrow’s Voices events at Airspace World, where the survey results will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategies.” Anyone between the ages of 20-28 is welcome to take part in the survey, which must be completed by 16 February. Survey participants will be entered into a draw to win Euros 100 towards the cost of their travel to Geneva.

Angy Odysseos, CANSO Media Relations Manager, added: “As a young professional in the industry myself, I encourage all my young peers and students to complete the survey and help contribute to our industry insights. To identify the challenges we face and their potential solutions, and to support the future of aviation talent. I look forward to seeing all of you  at Airspace World.”
