Thorsten Indra

HHLA Sky GmbH

Project Developer

Thorsten Indra enjoys working at the intersection of technology, integration, regulations, strategy, UTM, and cyber security. Having been involved in the commercial drone industry since 2015, he has piloted commercial drones for industrial inspections in challenging environments across Europe and the US, and consulted for various companies in UAS. As a project developer at HHLA Sky, he helps clients implement industrial drones in their organization’s operations. For him, combining intelligent workflows in an integrated, risk-managed, and cyber-secure way, is the path to successful, scalable drone operations. For the past five years, he has been engaged in HHLA Sky’s UTM-research activities and in helping shape their UTM technology platform.
