Maria Iole Gentile act as ATM Line of Business Senior Vice President, leading Leonardo organization, dedicated to deploy solutions in the field of automation, surveillance and communications starting from research and development to delivery and support across the whole life cycle.
Moreover, she is the Chairman of D-Flight, the company owned by Enav Group and Leonardo, created to pursue the development and provision of low-altitude air traffic management services for all other types of aircraft belonging to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) category and any activity connected to them and designated as the National Common Information Service provider in Italy.
Graduated in Business and Economics at LUISS Business School in Rome, she has started immediately to operate in Airspace & Defense sector and she joined Leonardo group in 1998. During her career, she has gained a multi-domain and multicultural expertise in Commercial, Finance, Risks Management, Project and Program Management up to General Management and developed an international footprint by directing complex projects and initiatives overseas.
Maria Iole Gentile is dedicated to evolving the shape of industrial contribution to future Air Traffic Management leveraging on innovation, fostering cooperation and enhancing people talents and skills.
