Researcher and SESAR 3 Solution Lead
Mara Weber received a master’s degree in Air Traffic and Logistics in 2022 from the Technical University of Dresden. Since 2020, Mara has been part of the DLR Flight Centric ATC team, initially as a student assistant before transitioning to a researcher role in 2022. Currently, Mara is leading the SESAR 3 FCA solution, which was launched in 2023 and investigates the feasibility of the Flight Centric ATC concept. Within the solution, she also leads a joint exercise between DLR and UkSATSE, validating the application of Flight Centric ATC in the upper Ukrainian airspace. At DLR, Mara plans, coordinates and conducts real-time simulation campaigns to further research the FCA concept.
