Speaker Bio

Luke Tchoka is an Unmanned Aerial Systems specialist, Chief Remote Pilot, and Team Lead at Wingcopter, where he has overseen FAA Type Certification testing, BVLOS operations, and last-mile medical drone delivery operations in Malawi and Kenya. He has led teams, implemented structured operational procedures, and served as a maintenance technician and unmanned flight instructor, where he has trained both technical and non-technical personnel, ensuring operational safety and excellence across all aspects of UAS operations.
Luke is the founder of an NGO, Leaders of Tomorrow (LOTO), dedicated to empowering rural youth and developing the next generation into literate and tech-savvy communities. His work encompasses practical drone operations, workforce development, and community engagement, building safe, scalable, and sustainable UAV ecosystems that deliver measurable real-world impact.
