Léonard Bouygues specializes in the integration of highly automated aviation systems across low altitude drones, AAM, and high-altitude platforms. Previously, Léonard was the Director of Safety for Kittyhawk, and the Director of Flight Operations for Google Loon, where he developed the Mission Control Centers and CONOPs for a network of high-altitude platforms delivering connectivity for over 2 million flight hours across the globe. Léonard has been working on the airspace integration of new entrants in higher airspace since 2018, where he worked closely with NASA and regulators on early concept development. Léonard is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and holds a Master of Engineering in Aeronautics from Imperial College London.
