Senior Manager for Air Traffic Strategy
Greg Byus is the Senior Manager for Air Traffic Strategy with United Airlines. Prior to joining United, Mr. Byus served 33 years with the Federal Aviation Administration retiring as the Air Traffic Manager of the Air Traffic Control System Command Center, responsible for the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System and ensuring collaboration with all stakeholders in the development and implementation of NAS operations. Mr. Byus served as a member of ICAO and CANSO ATFM workgroups promoting global ATFM standards and operating procedures as well as serving as the FAA Lead for Collaborative Decision Making, ensuring engagement with flight operators, flight plan service providers and airport operators. In his current role, Mr. Byus continues to engage with Air Navigation Service Providers across the globe to ensure collaboration and information exchange among all stakeholders to promote safety and efficiency throughout the global network
