Speaker Bio

Andres Van Swalm is the CEO and co-founder of Unifly, a UAS Traffic Management (UTM) technology provider established in 2015. He began his aviation career as an Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO) with the Belgian Air Force, gaining significant expertise in Air Traffic Management (ATM). Leveraging this knowledge, he co-founded Unifly to enable autonomous aviation through the development of UTM solutions. Andres has played a key role in major drone and UTM initiatives, including the SESAR Joint Undertaking CORUS project, where he contributed to defining the UTM concept of operations. He was also elected President of the Alliance for New Mobility Europe (AME).
