Andrea Sack

Austro Control

Director of Safety, Security and Quality

Andrea Sack presently serves as the director of Safety, Security and Quality at Austro Control. She has more than 25 years of experience in aviation, having had different roles across the industry including leading and expert roles in airlines, aircraft maintenance, airports, general aviation and search and rescue. Andrea has been actively involved in shaping aviation safety on different levels beyond her role at Austro Control. From 2020 until 2024 she served as an industry co-chair for the Eurocontrol Safety Team, a collaborative platform bringing industry safety experts together to enhance safety standards and practices across Europe. Andrea presently serves as the co-chair of the CANSO Safety Standing Committee, where she supports the close work with ANSPs and industry stakeholders, to drive global safety initiatives and encourage safety collaboration.
