European and Australian Regulatory Affairs and Standards Manager
Alexandra joined Wing in 2020 and is acting as European and Australian Regulatory Affairs Lead in addition to her previous role as Aviation Technical Standards Manager. Alexandra works cross-functionally to help secure the company’s approvals in Europe and Australia and develop regulatory strategic policies. She is very involved in developing uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) standards as co-chair of Eurocae Working Group-105 on UAS since 2021 and a member of the ASTM F38 UAS committee since 2020.
Before joining Wing, Alexandra worked for nine years at EASA where she was initially Safety Expert and Senior Expert in Development Assurance then EASA Drones Project Manager. She was involved for more than 10 years in JARUS and is one of the founders of the Specific Operation Risk Assessment (SORA), which has been recognized by regulators adopting a risk/performance-based regulatory framework for UAS operations such as EASA in Europe, CASA in Australia and more recently the UK CAA.
Before joining EASA in 2011, Alexandra worked for ten years in the French industry as a System Architect of Engine Control Systems.
