Clem Newton-Brown is the Founder and CEO of Skyportz, an Australian company developing scalable vertiport infrastructure for the emerging Advanced Air Mobility sector. Skyportz’s flagship solution, the Aeroberm, is a modular vertiport/vertipad system engineered to manage downwash and enable safer, faster deployment of landing sites in urban and regional environments.

A barrister and planning law specialist, Clem brings deep expertise in aviation-adjacent regulation, land use, and infrastructure approvals. He previously served in public office as a Member of the Victorian Parliament and Deputy Lord Mayor of Melbourne. He is also a long-time entrepreneur with interests across property, planning, and tourism.

Clem contributes to national and international industry working groups focused on AAM and vertiport infrastructure, and works with partners globally on practical deployment pathways—combining policy, engineering and commercial execution to accelerate real-world adoption of vertiports and Aeroberm installations.
