Claudia Bacco

ATM Magazine

Editor

Claudia Bacco is the Assistant Editor for Air Traffic Management magazine, part of the Key Publishing portfolio of publications. Air Traffic Management has been the most influential and respected global publication in the air traffic management (ATM)/air traffic control (ATC) field for more than 25 years. In print and online, ATM keeps the sector’s leaders informed, whether they work in established industry giants or start-ups entering the space. She joined the magazine in this role in January 2020 and led the redesign and refocus of editorial topics. ATM goes beyond the control tower to touch on connected aspects of the modern aviation industry, such as telecommunications, networks and data management, but always with its in-depth editorial coverage of air traffic management at the core. During the last six months, the publication has also brought the topics of uncrewed traffic management (UTM), urban air mobility (UAM) and commercial space into the coverage areas. UTM/UAM now carries a headline position in the editorial coverage with ATM. With the importance of the telecom service provider role for connectivity and services to the UTM/UAM vehicles, the inclusion of the perspective of these organisations is now a highlighted area in our magazine and website. This area of coverage will grow substantially during 2023. In addition to her editorial expertise, Claudia has a wealth of corporate marketing, branding & positioning experience within technology companies such as Verizon, Juniper Networks and Nokia. She brings 20 + years of high tech B2B marketing expertise. Thought leader – published editor and industry conference speaker. Originally from the United States, relocated to Munich, Germany and enjoying the experience of living in Europe.
