With function calling and retrieval augmentation, these models can both ingest relevant data and output informed answers/data for human or software consumption on run-time, elevating real-time aviation operations. The integration of LLMs as the core entity within an ecosystem of aerospace-centric utility modules, promises a feasible value creation in efficiency, safety and decision-making while also paving the way to practical autonomous aviation agents.
