DANUBE Functional Airspace Block has been established between Romania and the Republic of Bulgaria, including the two ANSPs, ROMATSA and BULATSA. The overall objective of DANUBE FAB is to achieve the optimal provision of air traffic management (ATM)/air navigation services (ANS) in the areas relating to safety, environmental protection, sustainable development, capacity, cost-efficiency, civil-military cooperation, thus fulfilling the provisions of the Single European Sky framework legislation.
