Sugoon Fucharoen

Sugoon Fucharoen, or Kin, is an ATFM specialist at AEROTHAI who has been involved in both national and regional ATFM development for almost ten years. His responsibilities include ATFM strategies, procedure development, software design, and post-operations analysis. He has also been co-leading the Asia-Pacific Cross-Border Multi-Nodal ATFM Collaboration, the regional ATFM implementation project in the APAC region, since its early days.

Kin also serves as a co-chair of the CANSO ATFM/A-CDM Workgroup and has coordinated several webinars and guidance materials in ATFM and A-CDM in that role, including the development of the recently published special events and disruption planning guide, on which the topic of this session is based.

Stuart Ratcliffe

Stuart Ratcliffe is a Product Manager for AireonFLOW and a subject matter expert on ATFM/CDM for AIREON. Prior to the current role, he has served for more than 45 years in the ATM industry, including 25 years as an ATCO and more than 20 years in the area of ATFM/CDM. He has supported ATFM/CDM implementation in the USA, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Australia, the Middle East, and Latin America, and is involved in the revision of the ICAO Manual on Collaborative ATFM (Doc 9971).

Stuart also co-chairs the CANSO ATFM/A-CDM Workgroup, where he was monumental in the development of several guidance documents including Implementing ATFM/CDM, ATFM/A-CDM Integration, and Long-Range ATFM Concept White Paper.

Matt Shepherd

Matt Shepherd is an experienced Air Traffic Management (ATM) Consultant with extensive aviation experience across the domains of air traffic control, airport and airspace planning, airport capacity enhancement, safety, and policy advice. Matt has over forty years of experience with ANSPs as an ATC, Manager, and consultant on significant ATM and airport projects. Matt is a Fellow of the Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, the recipient of the Bruce Byers Churchill Fellowship to study ATC training, and has been awarded an Australia Day medal.

He is a champion for A-CDM, ATFM, and airspace and flight path design. He is currently working with governments, ANSPs, and airport owners in the delivery of pragmatic, efficient operational programs.

Zachary George

Zac is the Business Development Manager for CRFS Ltd. He is a former electronic warfare officer serving with special forces and the European Command staff. He drove sales in the VHF decoding markets before CRFS, and is still a US Naval Reserve Officer.

Vladimír Foltín

Vladimir has been professionally involved in aviation for more than 25 years. He joined EASA in 2011 after several years of working for the Slovak Air Navigation Services Provider (LPS SR). There he occupied several technical, operational, and managerial positions. He started his career in the technical support of aeronautical information services and later worked as en-route air traffic controller and instructor. He was leading various development projects mostly related to ATM operations, airspace, or design of airways. He concluded the industry experience as the senior management representative responsible for safety management. Nowadays, he works in the General Aviation (GA) and VTOL department of EASA certification.

Dr. Tony Ng

Dr. Tony Ng is the CTO and Solution Architect for the Transportation Solutions division of Leidos. He is the lead systems architect for several FAA programs to modernize US air traffic management automation under the FAA Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) initiative. Tony has designed air traffic control systems for more than thirty years, and engages in research to increase the safety, efficiency, capacity, predictability, and resiliency of aviation. He published many articles in the areas of fault tolerant, distributed, and real time systems. He has a PhD in computer science from MIT.

Marco Rueckert

Marco is an experienced technology executive with more than 14 years of experience in building complex, realtime, and mission critical systems for the Air Traffic Management (ATM) industry. As Vice President, Technology, Marco is part of the senior management team of Searidge and accountable for the development and advancement of Searidge’s technology portfolio. Besides ensuring the successful delivery of all operational technology systems, Marco and his team also drive Searidge’s technology roadmap to cement company’s role as an industry leader. With a passion for Artificial Intelligence and its application to ATM, Marco has a proven track record of researching, developing, and commercializing innovative new products and solutions.

Yasudha Sahi

Yasudha is the Lead for Air Traffic Management Systems / Communication Navigation and Surveillance (ATM/CNS) and Meteorological Systems in NACO and Special Airport Systems (SAS) Consultant based in The Hague, Netherlands.
Yasudha has been involved in the development of designs and expertise for Air Traffic Management Systems and Meteorological Systems within NACO. She has acted as design coordinator and project manager for multidisciplinary projects.

Mat Winter

• Mat Winter is the President of Winter Strategic Solutions, LLC, a Small Business firm providing technology and business advice to senior defense, private sector companies, non-profits and academic leaders. He retired as a U.S. Navy Vice Admiral, having served as the 24th Chief of Naval Research/Director of Innovation and as the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Director where he ran the Defense Department’s largest acquisition enterprise in history with $30 billion dollars annual budget. Prior Flag leadership roles also include the Program Executive Officer for Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons, as well as the Commander for Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
