Marina Morić

With over 20 years of experience in both telecom and aviation industry on various leadership positions, Marina is experienced HR professional, currently working as Head of Human Resources at Croatia Control, Air Navigation Service Provider. Specializing in talent acquisition amongst other HR topics , she is dedicated to enhancing the selection process ensuring that organizations attract and retain top-tier talent. Marina is passionate about introducing innovative talent management strategies to enhance workplace dynamics.
Marina has a Master’s degree in Economics, she is Chairman of CANSO Global Human Resources Working group as well as Chairman of Human Resources Sub-committee within FABCE.

Eszter Kovacs

Eszter Kovács is the co-founder of M&K Global AG which consist of two business units: Murzilli Consulting and DroneTalks Group. Eszter is the CEO of the DroneTalks Group, which is a collection of services and platforms advancing the entirety of the drone industry ecosystem. Currently, members of the DroneTalks Group include DroneTalks, DroneTalks Jobs and Aerial Cities.

Eszter Kovács is also a drone industry expert and regularly contributes to major magazines about the latest trends; these include publications such as Commercial UAV News and Commercial Drone Professional. In addition to this, she is an advisor for several start-ups, such as Globhe. Her role as an advisor extends as well to her role on the advisory board of drone-related initiatives like AUVSI Xponential and Commercial UAV while also fulfilling her commitment as a Swiss Drone Industry Association board member.

These roles are backed by her extensive experience as a technical innovation expert where she contributed to the growth of several companies after leading and mentoring the implementation of complex projects in the drone industry. Eszter still continues to advise leaders on strategic planning and operational transformation initiatives. In 2020, she was also approached by the Global UTM Association to become the director of more than 40 UTM leaders through a 6-month restructuring initiative.

Katrina Hall

Katrina Hall is the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for NAS Programs and Support. Ms. Hall oversees and provides guidance to the Program Management Organization, Mission Support Services, Safety and Technical Training, and Management Services of the Air Traffic Organization (ATO).

She oversees the framework of these organizations; harmonizes support of the operation; assures modernization of NAS operations; directs the establishment of policies, standards, and procedures; realigns programs and priorities; optimizes hiring and placement efforts; and leads the ATO’s budget and program activities.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Hall served as the Deputy Vice President of Technical Operations. As Deputy Vice President of Technical Operations, Ms. Hall was responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient National Airspace System (NAS) by effectively managing air navigation services and infrastructure. Previously she served as the Director of Capital Budgets within the Office of Budgets and Programs, Office of Finance and Management.

Her division was responsible for: (1) establishing short and long-term capital and research program financial plans for the ATO to support acquisition goals, (2) establishing reviews, priorities, and reports on NAS requirements, investments, reprograms, schedules, and performance baselines and (3) providing analysis and responses to inquiries from the FAA CFO, the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, the Office of Management and Budget, Congress and others.

Ms. Hall also served as the Director, Investment Planning and Analysis. The Office of Investment Planning & Analysis supports strategic investment decision-making at the FAA by ensuring major capital investments are supported by robust business cases.

Ms. Hall began her federal government career with the Department of Defense as an operations research analyst for the Navy. She has more than 30 years of acquisition, financial, and business case analysis experience on large-scale government procurements. Ms. Hall holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Morgan State University. She is also a graduate of the Federal Executive Institutes Leadership for a Democratic Society.

Maurizio Terrenzio

Maurizio Terrenzio graduated with honors from the University of Studies of L’Aquila.
He has been working in Techno Sky for about 13 years as a computer engineer in ATM applications, being involved in the design, development and commissioning of systems for ATM training and operations.
Maurizio works in collaboration with a team of expert Air Traffic Controllers and software engineers, in order to fully satisfy the operational needs and to provide engineered solutions.

Cheryl Yen-Chun Chen

Ms Cheryl Chen is a tower-rated air traffic controller and has worked at Taipei and SongShang Control Tower before being repositioned as a safety officer for Air Navigation and Weather Services, the ANSP in Taiwan.
She is currently undergoing her radar training at Taipei Enroute Control Center.
She has been actively involved with IFATCA’s regional events and has been passionately advocating for gender equity in aviation.
She also helped initiate the IFATCA Speaking English Program, which is now widely utilized by many pilots and ATCs to keep up their aviation English speaking ability.
Cheryl was elected as IFATCA North Asia regional vice president in 2019, and later on took up the role as IFATCA EVP for Asia Pacific Region from 2021.
Before joining the aviation industry, she received her academic training in social psychology and sociology from the University of Cambridge, which led to her keen interest in human performance and safety.

Mildred Troegeler

Mildred Troegeler is the executive liaison to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). In this role, she works closely with ICAO and the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Associations (ICCAIA) on global and regional initiatives for a safer and more sustainable aerospace ecosystem. As director of Global Regulatory Strategy for Boeing Chief Aerospace Safety Office she also leads a diverse and global team that develops and operationalizes key global regulatory and policy strategies across the enterprise. Most recently, Troegeler has served as director of Global Airspace Integration for Boeing NeXt, a business division dedicated to building a safe, sustainable and seamless future mobility ecosystem.
Previously, Troegeler served as the director of Technical & Regulatory Affairs for Boeing Europe. In that role, she was responsible for representing Boeing interests with all European institutions, most notably the European Commission, European Aviation Safety Agency and the European Parliament. Before Boeing, she was the technical and operations general manager at the Association of European Airlines (AEA). Troegeler also shaped space policies at the United Nations as a legal and policy advisor to the German Aerospace Center.
Troegeler holds a law degree with a specialization in economics and competition law from the University of Bonn; and a postgraduate Master of Laws in air and space law from the University of Leiden. She is a board member of the NATO Maritime Unmanned Systems Innovation Advisory Board.

Chris Norsworthy

Chris is accountable for NATS’ work on airspace modernisation and our future operational concepts as well as supporting wider operational change across systems and tools. In addition, he maintains oversight of SESAR activities and aspects of our Military engagement to ensure we deliver aligned solutions. Chris joined NATS in 2005, initially as an ATCO in London Terminal Control before taking on a number of roles in project design, development and delivery across airspace and systems. He has also previously held operational management roles overseeing Terminal and Area Control Operations.

Huy Tran

Ms. Tran, as the Director of Aeronautics (2015-Present) and Deputy Director of Aeronautics (2010-2015) at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center (ARC), provides technical and management oversight of research disciplines in air traffic management, airspace simulation and operations, autonomous systems, computational fluid dynamics analysis, vertical flight vehicle technology, experimental fluid mechanics, and wind tunnel operations. She ensures the safe operations of the world’s largest wind tunnels and Vertical Motion Simulator. She has also served as the Aeronautics Research Director representing NASA Ames at the Aeronautics Mission Directorate. She works closely with the office of the Associate Administrator and its program directors to develop strategic plans and directions for Aeronautics, including several critical initiatives such as Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) and Airspace Technology Demonstration (ATD), Low Boom Flight Demonstrator (X-59), and other transformational projects. Ms. Tran is the lead inventor of the Phenolic Impregnated Carbon Ablator (PICA) heat shield material that enabled two sample return missions, three mars missions and currently used as the primary heatshield for Space-X Dragon capsules. Ms. Tran earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in materials engineering from San Jose State University.

Dragos Tonea

” Dragos Tonea is the Head of EUROCONTROL’s Strategic Programme for integrating new entrants in the European ATM network. With a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years, from active operations to international cooperation in the field of research and global harmonisation of operational procedures, he is a leading ATM expert and experienced manager.

Nominated by EUROCONTROL to ICAO’s ATMOPS panel, he chaired it from 2015 to 2023. As panel Chair, he coordinated the successful delivery of global guidance related to civil-military cooperation in ATM and ATFM.
Dragos led the effort to write the European Concept of Operations for Higher Airspace and is currently the Coordinator of Europe’s leading industrial research project for Higher Airspace Operations (ECHO2).

Diana Kelly

Currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at NAV CANADA, Diana started her career as an air traffic controller in 2001 with the same company. During her tenure, she has had increasingly prominent roles within the organization, including Assistant Vice President Corporate Planning & Performance, and was most recently the Vice President and Chief Safety & Quality Officer. Diana attained her Executive MBA from Ivey Business school at Western University in 2021 and is the Vice Chair of the CANSO HR Working group, a member of the CD Howe Human Capital Policy Council, and sits on the Governing Body of the Evanta Executive Leadership Community of Toronto. She lives in Ottawa with her husband and two teenage daughters.
