Veit joined DFS Aviation Services GmbH in 2022 as Product Manager for RTC. In his former roles at Zurich Airport AG and PwC he gained extensive knowledge, both on RDT and airport operations.

Martin Hasselknippe

Martin Hasselknippe has an extensive background within product management of ATM systems. He has worked for Indra for almost 30 years and is currently deeply involved in Avinor and HungaroControl’s remote tower projects. Martin Hasselknippe has been project manager for several SESAR research and validation projects. As a licensed pilot, he has a broad perspective on the business.

Øivind Klausen

Øivind Klausen has an extensive background with international sales and business development of advanced ATM solutions, hereunder A-SMGCS, integrated towers, and digital remote tower solutions. He has been instrumental in Indra’s pioneering digital tower projects for Avinor, HungaroControl and Vancouver, working closely with the ANSPs in defining and starting up the projects.

Stefan Pemmer

Stefan Pemmer is Product Manager in the Market Unit Network Solutions at Frequentis with 10 years of experience in the ATM sector. He began his career as System Engineer in Project Delivery to customers worldwide. He has been responsible for implementation and designing of country wide network solutions for multiple years. Today, his responsibility is stretching from covering ATM Grade network requirements within new products features until designing entire network solutions for customers across the globe, with the focus to deliver highest service availability for air traffic applications.

Fabrice Kunzi

Fabrice has a unique combination of deep technical and regulatory expertise, along with experience launching and leading new technology ventures. In his role of Chief Product Officer of SkyGrid, he focuses on the identification of technology and market trends and how those trends could be harvested for the benefit of the company.

Prior to joining SkyGrid, Fabrice led a cross-functional team in corporate venturing and technology incubation endeavors at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI). He currently serves on RTCA, ICAO, EUROCAE and NATO industry committees, leading the standardization activities of key systems required to enable automation and operational improvements for piloted and unpiloted aircraft worldwide.

He earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and holds both Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also holds an FAA Commercial Pilot’s License with an IFR and Multi-Engine Rating, as well as a Swiss Private Pilot’s License.

Manuel Rivas Vila

Manuel RIVAS VILA is with EASA for more than 10 years, where he manages the ATM Oversight Section. Throughout his career, he has worked on ATM/ANS implementation, service provision, regulation and oversight. In the last years, he has been deeply involved in the development of the new ATM/ANS equipment framework and its implementation, as well as supporting industry standards. Prior to EASA, he worked for more than a decade for ENAIRE, the Spanish En route air navigation service provider. He holds a master degree in aeronautical engineering.

Athanassios Tziolas

: Athanassios Tziolas is the Head of Air Traffic Department at European Union Aviation Safety Agency. He has been actively contributing for over two decades to numerous Agency’s activities dealing with Rulemaking, General Aviation and Strategy/Programmes. Since 2022, he is working in the Air Traffic Department ensuring the ATM/ANS regulatory, oversight, standardization activities including coordination of EASA contributions to the SESAR programme.
