Speaker Bio

Dr Klaus Affholderbach brings more than 20 years of management experience and know-how from the aviation industry.
Klaus joined Skyguide, the Swiss ANSP, back in 2001 as Capacity Engineer. In 2002, he became Chief of Staff to the Director Operations.
During his time at Skyguide, he made a significant contribution to the development and establishment of a positrive safety and corporate culture.
From 2018 to 2023, he was a member of the Executive Board of the Swiss air navigation service provider Skyguide, where he was responsible for safety, security, quality and risk management.
He has chaired national and international committees, including the Operations Consultation Group , the Agency Advisory Board at EUROCONTROL, the European CANSO Performance Group and most recently the European Group of Safety Directors in CANSO.

Klaus Affholderbach holds a doctorate in high-energy physics and is a certified systemic coach from the European Business School (EBS).
Klaus has left Skyguide by the end of 2023 to build his own business.
He supports Executives and Leadership teams as well as organisations, during transformation processes and helps them to build a supportive and resilient corporate culture.
Today, successful change processes and transformations are the exception rather than the rule.
Traditional approaches to change management are no longer sufficient.
Resilience at an organizational level is the basic prerequisite for not only surviving – but emerging stronger – from times of crisis.
