Speaker Bio

Jorge Chorniqué Sánchez is the Strategy and Technical lead for the Airbus UTM program organization since 2019, which he joined after having developed the UAS and UAM strategy for Airbus Helicopters for the previous three years. Overall ,he has more than 20 years experience in the aerospace and defence industry working for Airbus since he obtained his Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. In this period he has held several positions in the Airbus engineering and strategy organizations, providing him with the right balance of market and technology know-how required to understand and implement emerging markets’ strategies. In his current role he acts as a visionary leader to ensure that the emergence of new technologies and operations pave the way towards a more sustainable, fair, safe and integrated airspace management.
