Antonio Garutti is currently Head of Telecommunication System Project Office within the Directorate of Telecommunications and Integrated Applications, at ESA – ESTEC in The Netherlands and thus responsible for the Implementation of a large number of ESA Private Public Partnership Programmes with Industries In the Telecommunications domain. He has been with ESA for the last 21 years, working in various functions: Head of the Industrial Policy Implementation Office, Programme Manager the Telecommunication Satellite development AG1 and, from 2003 to 2006, responsible for the Procurement of the Galileo Giove A and B Satellites. Before joining ESA, he has been working in Italian Space Industry reaching the responsibility of Head Department for Satellite Power Systems and Equipment’s development. Italian nationality, he holds a Master Degree in Electronic Nuclear Engineering at the “Politecnico di Milano”.
