Professor and Director of the Centre for ATM Research
Professor Andrew Cook is Director of the Centre for Air Traffic Management Research at the University of Westminster, London. He has been engaged in transport research since 1989, specialising in ATM from 1999 – coordinating and leading work across 35 major European ATM research projects. These have been primarily funded through SESAR, EUROCONTROL and the European Commission, and carried out in collaboration with airlines, airports, ANSPs, software/service providers, and other research institutes. Andrew specialises in applied/industrial research, performance assessment and intermodal applications. He has acted as economic advisor and scientific evaluator for industry and national government, is a member of numerous international scientific committees and boards, including the SESAR 3 JU Scientific Committee, and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
