Speaker Bio

Vincenzo Smorto has been Chief Technology Officer of ENAV, the Italian Air Navigation Service Provider, since 2012. He oversees the operations, the modernization and the technical strategy of ATM, CNS, meteorology, building infrastructure in 4 ACC centers, 45 airports and more than 100 remote sites. He has been also (2019-24) Executive Chairman of IDS AirNav, an ENAV Group company, specialized in development and delivery of AIS/AIM solutions in more than 80 countries worldwide, while, before 2012, he was Technical Director of an aerospace company working in Air Traffic Management, Defence and Space.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza (Italy).
