Philipp Piber

Managing Director, Chair

Philipp Piber has served as Managing Director of Austro Control since 2022, where he plays a key role in actively driving forward innovation and the further advancement of the Air Traffic Management (ATM) sector. After positions in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transport, he joined the company in 2016.

He headed the Aviation Agency and initiated the Drone Competence Center at Austro Control. An economist by training, he brings extensive international experience through his participation in various international bodies, including serving as Chairman of the COOPANS Alliance.
Currently, Philipp Piber serves as Chair of the A6 Alliance as a representative of COOPANS.
