Speaker Bio

Francisco Martinez Rico is the Head of the Automation Division at ENAIRE, with extensive experience in the management and governance of large scale, safety critical systems in the air navigation domain. His career combines a strong technical background with executive level leadership in highly regulated environments.
He participates in the iTEC collaboration as a member of its Steering Committee and acts as Chief Technology Officer on behalf of ENAIRE, contributing to strategic governance, partner coordination, and the alignment of technological decisions with common programme objectives.
In his managerial role, he leads major automation initiatives, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders while focusing on programme oversight, investment priorities, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
