By the last day of Airspace World 2026, the focus of the show’s five theatres shifts to scale — how the industry takes innovation and delivers it consistently across regions, organisations and operational environments.
The day opens with one of CANSO’s most distinctive initiatives: the Chief Executives’ and Young Professionals’ Breakfast (08:00–10:00). Part of the Tomorrow’s Voices programme, the session brings together senior leaders and the next generation of aviation professionals to explore leadership, innovation and the evolving skills required for the future of ATM.
The morning continues in the Viasat Theatre with another CANSO CEO Conversation: The Next Generation of ATM – Where Technology Meets Talent and Diversity (11:00–11:50). The session examines how digitalisation and automation are reshaping workforce requirements, organisational culture and leadership models — and how the industry can attract and develop the talent needed for the future.
At the same time, the Integra Theatre hosts Shaping the ICAO Minimum Implementation Path (MIP) (11:00–11:50). As ICAO develops this critical framework, the session explores how a baseline set of global capabilities can accelerate modernisation while ensuring interoperability and inclusivity across regions.
The early afternoon moves into practical implementation in the Boeing Theatre with Demystifying Trajectory-Based Operations – From Concept to Implementation (13:00–13:50). Designed as an accessible, interactive session, it breaks down one of ATM’s most important digital transformation concepts and connects it directly to operational reality.
Finally, the programme closes with a strong operational focus in From Guidance to Action: Delivering Operational Impact through CANSO OSC Publications (13:30–14:00). Showcasing a range of industry-led guidance — from GNSS interference and space operations to sustainability and ATFM — the session highlights how collaborative work is being translated into practical tools and measurable outcomes.
Taken together, Thursday reflects an industry focused on alignment — bringing together people, policy and operational delivery to scale transformation globally.
“Our last day aims to connect all the elements of transformation — people, policy and technology — and ensuring they come together in a way that can be scaled globally,” said Samantha Hawrysko, Airspace World Content Manager. “It’s about turning progress into something consistent, interoperable and deliverable across the entire aviation system.”
