Youzec Kurp is Vice-President and General Manager of the Airspace Mobility Solutions Business Line at Thales, leading global efforts to enhance air traffic safety, efficiency, and resilience through innovative technologies.
Previously, he headed Thales’ Identity and Biometric Solutions Business Line, managing major national and international programs in digital trust, border security and biometric innovation.
He began his career in South Africa as a Consulting Engineer for the French government before entering the security and identity industry in 1997. Kurp held leadership roles at Gemalto starting in 2005, driving growth, industrial excellence in the Identity Document business.
He holds engineering and business degrees from ESIEE Paris and ESCP Europe, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership
