Speaker Bio

Stephen is the Project Officer for UAS Airspace Integration Research at EDAs Single European Sky unit. Stephen’s background is as a military officer who specialised in intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance, airborne operations and autonomous systems. Stephen served on operations with EUFOR in Chad and also in the Middle East with the United Nations. Stephen recently led the United Nations Technology Development team in Valencia where UAS and Counter UAS systems were deployed in support of peace operations. Stephen now works toward the integration of military UAS into the complex EU airspace.
