Nicki Harricharan

Operations Programme Manager

Nicki Harricharan brings 17 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a career rooted in operational air traffic control and expanded through national-level traffic flow management and global strategic coordination. She began as an enroute air traffic controller before moving into leadership roles within the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), including Air Traffic Control Supervisor and National Traffic Management Officer at the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC).
Nicki’s expertise spans air traffic flow management, coordination of large-scale military movement, national security events, presidential movements, severe weather operations, and integrating space transportation operations into the National Airspace System (NAS). Her ability to coordinate across military, civil, and commercial stakeholders has been instrumental in managing complex operational environments. In her current role as Operations Programme Manager at CANSO, Nicki leads the strategic direction of the Operations Standing Committee (OSC) and oversees the delivery of a global work programme covering multiple technical workgroups. Nicki is committed to driving global operational excellence. Her vision is to strengthen cross-industry partnerships, adopt innovation, and support the seamless integration of both traditional and emerging airspace users into the global aviation system.
