Senior Air Traffic Management executive with over 20 years of experience in ANSP operations, currently serving as Director of Operations at ASA Cabo Verde, overseeing the strategically important Sal Oceanic FIR. Recognised for leading complex ATM modernisation initiatives within oceanic and African operational environments, with extensive experience coordinating with ICAO, CANSO, regional ANSPs, and international stakeholders in support of performance-based ATM improvements and regional collaboration initiatives.
Margarett has actively contributed to strategic aviation and airspace modernisation programmes, combining operational leadership with stakeholder engagement and international cooperation. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Air Transport Management, focusing on sustainable performance-based airspace management in oceanic FIRs and future-oriented ATM solutions.
