Speaker Bio

Hamad Rashid Al Belushi is a Senior Expert in Air Traffic Management at the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), with over 25 years of experience in Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance systems across the Middle East. Rising from Air Traffic Controller to Director of Air Traffic Management, he chairs several key committees including the ICAO Middle East Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) Task Force. He has managed major projects including the first operational Arrival Management system in the Middle East and the Next Generation ATM system for the UAE GCAA. He also led the seamless transition of all Area Control Centre ATC sectors to the state-of-the-art Sheikh Zayed Air Navigation Centre.
