Speaker Bio

Ms. Flora serves as the Director of Air Navigation Services at the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority and has over 19 years of experience in the aviation industry. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in CNS/ATM/AIM infrastructure planning and implementation, as well as air traffic management operations.
Before taking up her current role, she served as Head of Engineering, where she played a significant role in driving modernization programs, strengthening aviation safety, and promoting sustainable development within the aviation sector.
Throughout her career, Ms. Flora has worked with various companies and institutions across Europe and Africa, gaining valuable international experience. She is recognized as one of the pioneers of the EGNOS Africa Joint Programme, now known as the SatNav Africa Joint Programme. In addition, she recently became a member of the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation Operations Standing Committee Steering Group.
