Speaker Bio

Dr David Cole is the Co-Founder and CEO of FlyFreely. He has worked in the uncrewed systems industry for more than 12 years. He started FlyFreely as a commercial drone service provider in Australia before pivoting the company in 2018 to focus on building its drone management software platform. Throughout this journey he has worked with 100’s of companies around the world to build and scale their drone operations.

Having seen and lived the challenges of operating drones commercially, Dr Cole remains focused on bridging the commercial and regulatory worlds through technology to enable the industry’s growth. He is also an industry member of JARUS, ASTM and EUROCAE.
