Speaker Bio

Costantino la Selva serves as Project Officer for Single European Sky Policy and Regulation in the European Defence Agency.
He matured a deep experience in the military aviation and civil air traffic management system in EU.

With more than 30 years as military Air Traffic Controller at Italian Air Force, he served in key operational and staff senior positions with a specific focus on civil-military coordination in Air Traffic Management.

In his current position, he facilitates the integration of EU military Air Force capabilities in the evolution of Single European Sky programme, participating in EU policy definition from the outset, coordinating regulatory aspects with EASA, ICAO and all the other EDA’s partners, contributing to the technological innovations and the deployment of new SESAR solutions, to gain benefits for military and civil actors in an unrestricted access and optimized use of the airspace.
