Arndt Schoenemann joined DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH in Langen in 2021 as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. DFS is responsible for air traffic control in German airspace and at the 16 international airports in Germany.
Arndt Schoenemann has more than 35 years of experience in the aerospace industry working in leading positions for Sell GmbH in Herborn, DASELL Cabin Interior GmbH in Hamburg, the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) in Berlin and Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH in Lindenberg.
He is a member of the CANSO Executive Committee and took over the chairmanship of the Europe CANSO CEO Committee (EC3) on January 1, 2025.
He is also a Steering Committee member of the German Association of the Aviation Economy (BDL) as well as a member of several high-level consulting groups for European and national aviation authorities.
