Alan Hicks is the CTO of Manna Drone Delivery, where he leads the technology function and team while setting the direction and future vision for the platform. A hands-on technology leader, Alan regularly contributes code to the platform when time permits.
With extensive expertise in distributed systems and Internet technologies, Alan has a proven track record of building and leading engineering teams working on cutting-edge technology. Previously, he joined CarTrawler in 2007 when it was a 25-person startup and served in technology leadership roles until 2019, helping scale it into the world’s largest online car rental distribution technology platform.
At Manna, Alan is pioneering drone delivery technology that’s transforming last-mile logistics with autonomous aerial delivery solutions.
