Speaker Bio

Adriano Acanfora is Technology & Strategy Program Officer – ATM Expert at the SESAR Joint Undertaking, the European Union’s air traffic management research and innovation partnership charged with delivering the Digital European Sky. He is responsible for Technical & Operational content of the research and innovation activities in the field of ATM and UAS/U-Space.
He originally joined the SESAR JU in 2023. He previously was an Officer of the Italian Airforce, ATCO and Head of ATS Units (TWR, APP and AIM). He began his career at the Airforce Academy in 1994 and graduated in Aeronautical Science.
