The global airspace community will come together at Airspace World 2026 for the inaugural Seamless Skies Awards Ceremony, taking place on Tuesday 26 May at 16:00 in the Boeing Theatre. The event will celebrate the organisations, partnerships and individuals driving innovation, collaboration and operational excellence across global air traffic management and the wider airspace ecosystem.
Delivered by CANSO in partnership with Global Airspace Radar and Unmanned Airspace/Urban Air Mobility News, the Seamless Skies Awards recognise achievements spanning safety, sustainability, resilience, digital transformation, lower airspace integration and workforce development. Winners will be announced live during the ceremony, before industry leaders gather for a post-awards drinks reception immediately afterwards.
The ceremony will also see the presentation of the new CANSO Person of the Year Award, introduced for 2026 to recognise an individual who has delivered an exceptional contribution to the airspace industry. Nominated and voted for by CANSO Members, the award highlights leadership, innovation and commitment helping to shape the future of global ATM.
