Speaker Bio

Emanuele “Manu” Lubrano is a Digital Transformation Architect at the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), where he leads the technical implementation of Zurich U-space. With over 14 years in the drone industry, Manu brings a rare combination of regulatory, technical, and operational expertise to the challenge of integrating drones safely into controlled airspace.

Before joining FOCA, Manu co-founded INVOLI, a company producing surveillance systems for drone integration, and led the ASTM standard “F3623-23 – Standard Specification for Surveillance Supplementary Data Service Providers”. He has served as President of DIAS (Swiss Drone Industry Association) and Board member of GUTMA (Global UTM Association). Earlier in his career, Manu was Head of Industrialization at the Swiss drone manufacturer senseFly.
