Speaker Bio

In January 2006, Micilia Albertus-Verboom was appointed Director General of the Dutch Caribbean Air Navigation Service Provider (DC-ANSP), which is responsible for the provision of air navigation services within the Curaçao Flight Information Region.
In 2011, DC-ANSP was one of the founding members of the CANSO Latin America and Caribbean region. Micilia was the first Chairperson of the CANSO Latin America and Caribbean Committee (LAC3), serving from 2011 to 2017 and again from 2019 to 2020. In this role, she was also appointed as a member of the CANSO Executive Committee.
Prior to joining DC-ANSP, Micilia worked for the Government of the former Netherlands Antilles and gained more than seven years of experience in the Justice Department.
